Tubac, Arizona is a little town full of artists these days. It was once the site of the Spanish Presidio (HQ/fortress), but this was moved to Tucson after too many Apache raids.
As you leave the desert landscape in Tucson and head up towards Mt Lemmon, you enter a very different world. These old petrified guys are its guardians.:)
I was hiking with my camera when I met this tourist who was kind enough to offer to pose for a picture. On one condition: that I would make it look like he could fly. No problem!
